Karl Ove Knausgaard is a Norwegian author born in Oslo on December 6, 1968. He has been compared to Marcel Proust because of his six authobiographical novels named “My Struggle”, spanning over 3500 pages. So far I have read the first novel and just started the second one. I have never read something more honest and detailed about someone’s ordinary life. I was hooked by his honesty, for sure, and became somehow “addicted” to his writing; more likely I won’t stop reading all of the six novels.

  1. A Death in the Family
  2. A Man in Love
  3. Boyhood Island
  4. Dancing in the Dark
  5. Some Rain Must Fall
  6. Will be Released in April 2018

More about the author and his novel series in The Guardian, Huffington Post and BBC.
